2015: Manhattan
The most perfect drink ever created. Spice and sweet meet classy and neat.
2.5 oz rye whiskey
.75 oz sweet vermouth
2 dashes Angostura bitters
1 dash orange bitters
Add all the ingredients to a mixing glass and stir with ice. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with an orange peel and/or maraschino cherry.
2016: Eggnog
I bet you can’t make just one.
.75 oz bourbon
.75 oz aged rum
.5 oz Amontillado sherry
.75 oz maple syrup
1 dash vanilla extract
1 whole egg
1 oz whole milk
1 oz heavy cream*
Add all the ingredients (except the heavy cream* - it would expand too much) to a shaker and shake well without ice. Next, add a few ice cubes and the heavy cream to the mixture and shake again for 15 seconds. Strain into a chilled glass and garnish with nutmeg.
2017: Salted Bourbon Milk Punch
The salt makes this easy drink super refreshing and salivating.
1. 5 oz bourbon (90 proof or higher) or aged rum
3 oz whole milk
.75 oz maple syrup
1 dash vanilla extract
pinch table salt
Add all the ingredients to a shaker with ice and shake well. Strain into a chilled rocks glass and garnish with nutmeg and a cinnamon stick.
2018: Bittered Sling
A Cognac/Brandy Old Fashioned with some holiday spice.
2 oz Cognac or brandy (Armagnac works too)
.5 oz simple syrup (or store bought gum syrup)
2 dashes Angostura bitters
Add all the ingredients to a mixing glass with ice and stir. Strain into an old fashioned glass with a large ice cube (or over fresh ice) and garnish with nutmeg.
Drink created by Erik Adkins
2019:Brandy Alexander
Dangerous and easy to drink. An old classic.
2 oz Brandy or Cognac
1 oz heavy cream
1 dark creme de cacao
1/4 oz vanilla liqueur or a dash of vanilla extract
Add ingredients to a shaker filled with ice. Shake well. Strain into a chilled glass and garnish with grated nutmeg.
2020: Scotch Martini
A Martini that sounds weird, but oddly works.
Before: Put your Martini or Coupe glass into the freezer for 5mins or longer
2.5 oz London Dry Gin (like Beefeater)
0.25 oz Blended Scotch Whisky (like Dewar’s)
1 dash orange bitters
Lemon twist
Add liquor ingredients to a mixing glass and stir with ice. Take your chilled glass from the freezer and strain and pour. You can also atomize the Scotch into the chilled glass after you stir the gin and bitters. Garnish with a lemon twist.
Drink created by Dale DeGroff (Smokey Martini)
2021: Old Fashioned
The original cocktail: Spirit of any kind, water, bitters and sugar.
2.25 oz Bourbon or Rye Whiskey
3 dashes Angostura Bitters
2 dashes Orange Bitters
2 sugar cubes (preferably brown and white - adds complexity and sweetness)
1 Luxardo Cherry
orange and lemon peel for garnish
In a rocks glass, add the two sugar cubes with a splash of water (or seltzer) and both bitters. Muddle those ingredients well - you want a paste consistency. Add your Bourbon, ice and stir until the glass and booze are chilled. Garnish with a lemon and orange peel and a Luxardo cherry. Cheers!

2022: Cosmonaut
A fun way to get people to love Gin Cosmos.
2 oz London Dry Gin
3/4 to 1 oz fresh lemon juice
2-3 bar spoons of Raspberry Preserves (not jam or jelly)
Chill your coupe glass. Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice and shake well. Double strain (tea or fine strainer) into your chilled coupe glass. No garnish necessary or you can use a lemon peel with a Luxardo cherry.
Drink by Sasha Petraske of Milk & Honey
2023: Holiday Gibson
2.5 oz gin
0.5 oz dry vermouth
1 dash orange bitters
5-8 whole peppercorns (cracked pepper releases more flavor)
1 sprig rosemary (pull leaves off half, save top half for garnish)
2 cocktail onions (for garnish)
Add all ingredients, including peppercorns and removed rosemary leaves, into a mixing glass. Add ice and stir. Strain into a coupe and garnish with the rosemary sprig with cocktail onions. Note: Salt tincture will help bring out more flavor.
2024: Monte Carlo
The Monte Carlo is basically a rye old-fashioned with herbal notes and spice.
2 oz rye whiskey
1/2 oz Benedictine liqueur
2-3 dashes Angostura bitters
Bar spoon Demerara simple syrup (preferably Liber & Co - optional)
Bar spoon vanilla liqueur (preferably Giffard - optional, but rounds out the drink nicely)
Lemon peel for garnish
Add all ingredients to a mixing glass with fresh ice. Stir for 10 seconds then strain into a rocks glass with new ice and garnish with lemon peel. This drink can also be served “Down”. Down means to stir it completely for 20 seconds and strain into a chilled rocks glass.
